Toni and I headed up to Buderim Mamma's Market on Saturday for the first time since August. It seemed liked we hadn't been there in forever and we were a bit out of practice when it came to our stall layout etc. Luckily we worked it out pretty quickly and had a gorgeous stall, even if I do say so myself. So I thought today I would share some pictures of the day.
If you see any products you would like to order just email me at ant3@hotkey.net.au and I will organise it for you. You will notice that I only sell a small selection of my goodies in my online shop and my stall has a much bigger selection.
Just a quick post to let everyone know that Toni and I will be at Mamma's market tomorrow (Saturday) all morning until 1pm. We have been busy preparing some Christmas items, although I have to say it has been hard to get into the Christmas spirit this early in the year. BUT, there are only 2 markets until Christmas so it had to be done. I've posted some pictures below of goodies I've been making.

Yep, that's right. Tomorrow (Sunday) I will be at the Baby and Kids market at Nudgee selling my children's pre loved clothes, toys and books. I also have 5 single bed quilt cover sets that they are too old for now.

We've had a good holiday so far. Tuesday was a bit cloudy and looked miserable but the weather man said that there would not be much rain so we packed our bags and headed down the Gold Coast to Sea World for the day. We were really lucky it only sprinkled on us a couple of times and we had a good day.
We saw the sea creatures in Shark Bay. We got to touch starfish and sea cucumbers and urchins.
We went on rides.
We saw the dolphin show and this little guy. He was adorable, in the baby pools, he was playing with his ball and threw it out of the pool to us 3 times. Then he would sit with his head out waiting for us to throw it back. How clever and cute is that!
We went to the new penguin exhibit. These animals are just beautiful. We stood for a long time looking at these guys. I think they liked looking at us as much as we liked looking at them.

It's great having the VIP pass and being able to take the kids to places like this in school holidays etc without the huge cost.
Now, onto some random things I wanted to share... first this is my cute owl that I bought at Typo a few weeks ago. So pretty.
I got new fabric delivered last week and I loved this print so I made Emma a skirt with it. She has been wearing it a lot so that makes me happy. I hemmed it differently than I usually would and used some of my new ribbon. I'm going to make her some more.
I ordered myself a Debbie necklace from Lovestamp a few weeks ago and had a little squeal when I saw it in the mailbox last night.
I can't remember if I shared these already but I made up a little pile of pencil cases and coin purses for the stall.
And these are my cute owl cushions that I have at the market now. They are super cute.
Lastly, I decided that I needed a treasure bag as much as the kids do for our trip so I made myself one. I used some laminated fabric I had on the shelf so it is waterproof. I did find it tricky to sew with, I don't know if I will be making a whole lot of stuff out of it.
I do think it is pretty though and it will be perfect for all the tickets, brochures etc that I always keep from my travels.
It's nearly time for the bunny to arrive, I hope everyone has a happy and safe Easter.
Toni and I will be at Mamma's Market (details in my side bar) tomorrow from 9am - 1pm. We have our fingers crossed that it does not rain at least until after lunch but I am really not feeling optimistic about it.
I sewed up two cute chenille owl cushions tonight ready to go. I'll share photos if I still have them next week. They are the first thing I have sewn in about 3 weeks, I just lost my mojo for a while there. Hopefully I have it back because I have a stack of things I want to get made.

We went along to Mamma's Market at Buderim on Saturday and had a really great morning. Thanks to the lovely ladies who came along and visited us.
Please head over to facebook and click on Mamma's market and vote for our stall. The stall that has the most people like it by the end of the week gets to have a stall for free next time! That is a huge saving for us so please head over and like our picture. This week has been one of those crazy weeks, I feel like I haven't had time to sit and take a breath.
I have been busy, alongside Toni getting ready for our next big market adventure this coming Saturday at Mamma's Market, Buderim. We both got together and revamped our stall. It looks so much nicer now with much more room for displaying our product.
We have also been busy making sure we have plenty of stock for the weekend. I have made new small coin purses this week.
As well as some really gorgeous fabric covered notebooks (even if I do say so myself).
And this little pile of felt birdies has now turned into lovely little hand sewn lavender hanging birds.
I have a few more things I would love to have made before the weekend, so this week will mean sewing them up.

I'm still here, I know I've been slack with my blog updating of late. As many know work has started back and teaching preppies at the start of the year is just busy and absolutely exhausting!
I have been sewing to get ready for our next market, we want to give our stall a bit of a new look and we want to have lots of stock. So I have been sewing lots and lots of pencil rolls (I sewed about 8 for myself and then got an order for 10 more!)
These are the ones that I have made for the stall (minus the blue one on top which is sold)
And I have been making these little bundles of 4 fabric coasters. They are so cute and are a new addition to my stall. I've also got new coin purses made up and ready to go.
I'll be back with our Australia day photos tomorrow, the kids had a great afternoon in Gianna's pool.
I am excited to post that Toni and I will be doing a new market (in addition to Redcliffe Jetty Markets). It is called Mamma's Market and is held at Buderim. It will be full of hand made goodness so we are very happy to be showing off our wares there.
We'll be there on Feb 19th to start off, mark it on your calendar and come along and check it out. I'll put the address etc in the sidebar later today.
Some new little bits of sweetness that I have made for my market stall. These little headbands are so cute and they are only $4. A really great stocking stuffer or something little to go with a present that just needs something extra.
I will have them on the stall at our next market, Sunday 12th December.
I will be at Redcliffe markets tomorrow from 7am - 2pm selling my wares. I have been sewing all day and have a new stock up of cosmetic bags, coin purses, fabric covered notebooks and pencil cases. Come by and grab some Christmas gifts, you can even make a custom order if you want something specific.
