Happy Birthday Emma and our trip to Savala, Fiji.

While we were away in Fiji Emma celebrated her 10th birthday.  It was pretty exciting for her turning double digits and getting to be in Fiji too.  We started the day with balloons and presents.

Then we jumped on a boat and headed to a new island that we haven't visited before called 'Savala'.  It was lovely and small and the water was divine.  Emma was extra lucky because everyone on the boat sang happy birthday to her on the way over.

The water was clear and gorgeous and Emma had a ball trying out her new snorkelling kit.

Nathan and I collected shells and sorted them under our little umbrella.

And I had to share these photos of me and my boy because I love them.

As you can see in the photo below the sky when we left was grey and stormy and by the time we got back to the marina it was pouring down.  We had a great day though and a memorable birthday for our big 10 year old Emma.

Happy Birthday Emma!

Emma turned 9 this weekend and we had a great time celebrating our gorgeous girl.

It was party time for Emma and she chose the Petite Princess Parlour to hold her special event.  There were lollies, pizza and pink lemonade for all.

There were party games too and lots and lots of dancing.

All the girls really loved the dress ups  and this mask was Emma's favourite along with a tutu skirt.

And then there was the pampering.  Manicures for all while dressed in their robes.

Emma also had her done done with this gorgeous tiny tiara and her makeup done too.

 And then there was cake.

Emma had an absolute ball, she smiled and laughed the whole time having fun with her friends.  She was super lucky this birthday and got an iPad mini as well as some other small gifts.  She was spoiled with presents from all her friends at the party too.

If you have a daughter and you are thinking about Petite Princess Parlour for a party - do it, they do an excellent job and the girls just love it (link here).

Happy 9th birthday Emma!

Nathan turned 9!

Yep, while I was away from blog land Nathan celebrated his 9th birthday.  He had 5 friends over and we took them all to McDonald's and to a movie before they stayed the night.  He was so excited and I think he really had a great weekend.  


He chose a Freddo Frog ice cream cake (which I have to say are very delicious)

Nathan is too cool to give us a real smile these days.

Emma on the other hand loves to take a pose.

I hope Nathan has a great year being 9!

Tea Party Fun

Last night I had some of my favourite friends over for an evening tea party to celebrate my birthday.  The theme was everything pink so all the table settings etc were pink of course.

We had a fabulous night with great food, drink and good company.  We drank Pink Champagne with sorbet, we ate raspberry coconut cupcakes topped with Raphael chocolates, vanilla cupcakes, passionfruit melitng moments and rocky road biscuites as well as cheeses, nuts, quiches and gourmet sausage rolls   YUM!

We sat up until 2am just chatting, catching up and having a great time together.  Thanks girls for coming along, let's do it again soon!

Happy Birthday Carter!

We were invited to Carter's 1st Birthday party over the weekend and we had a lovely time. The kids thought the park was fantastic and the cake was a big hit too (as you can see by the photos).
